Royal Bins & Disposal, a division of Litt Trucking Ltd. ("we", "us"), respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through royalbins.ca, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We handle personal information in accordance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

What we collect

We only collect what we need to quote and deliver a bin:

• Information you give us. Your name, phone number, email address, job site postal code, requested bin size and date, and whatever you write in the notes field when you submit the request form or email us.
• Information collected automatically. Standard web server logs — your IP address, browser type, the pages you visited and the time you visited them — plus analytics data if you have not opted out (see below).

We do not collect payment card details through this website.

Why we collect it

• To respond to your request, quote the job and schedule the delivery.
• To contact you about a booking, including confirmation calls and texts.
• To invoice you and keep the business records the law requires us to keep.
• To understand how the website is used, so we can improve it.
• To detect and prevent spam and abuse of the request form.

We will not use your contact details for marketing unrelated to your enquiry unless you ask us to.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing purposes. We share it only with:

• Our own staff and drivers, so they can find the site and do the job.
• Service providers who operate the site and our systems on our behalf — our web host, our email provider and our analytics provider. They may only use the information to provide that service to us.
• Law enforcement or regulators, where we are legally required to.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses a small number of cookies to make it work and to measure traffic. Analytics tells us things like which pages are visited and roughly where visitors are from; it is not used to identify you personally. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings — the site will still work.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't turn into a booking are kept for up to two years so we can pick up the conversation if you come back. Records connected to a completed job are kept for seven years, which is the retention period Canadian tax law requires for business records.

How we protect it

The site is served over HTTPS, form submissions are encrypted in transit, and access to enquiry data is limited to staff who need it to do their job. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps appropriate to the sensitivity of the information.

Your rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Email dispatch@royalbins.ca or call (905) 555-0147 and we will respond within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be noted on the homepage.
